FAQ

Shipping and Returns

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

Please read our Shipping and Returns policy here.

Products

Yes absolutely! In fact all of our carrier oils are fantastic to use as moisturizers alone.

Carrier oils serve to dilute the essential oil before applying it to your skin. They act as the base for “carrying” the essential oil that is being mixed into it. Compared to essential oils. Because our essential oils are authentic and pure, their high levels of concentration can irritate the skin when applied without a carrier oil, so the essential oil must be blended with a carrier oil properly. It is not hard to do, see ratios below.

1 ounce carrier oil = 12 drops essential oil

2 ounce carrier oil = 24 drops essential oil

4 ounce carrier oil = 48 drops essential oil

Certain essentials oils are considered too powerful for use during pregnancy as they may stimulate the production of certain hormones, and can encourage bleeding. Please consult your physician or a reputable aromatherapist before using any essential oil.

Many essential oils do not have expiration dates. Essential oils like Patchouli and Sandalwood actually get better with age.  However, there are always exceptions to every rule. For example, cold-pressed citrus oils such as Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Lemon and some pine oils have a much shorter shelf life and generally run their course in about 6 months to one year. We encourage our customers to store essential oils in consistent temperatures with little light to ensure the longest life possible. However, most essential oils shelf life are on average 2 years.
